Our Team

Breadner Veterinary Services prides itself on offering compassionate, loving care to your fuzzy, furry, scaled or winged family member. This would not be possible without our staff. Here you can find the friendly faces you may see in our hospital, or the faces you may not see but are hard at work in the background.

Office Assistants

  • Kim - (aka the cat whisperer) has worked in the Veterinary field for over 28 years. (Wow that's a long time in dog and cat years!!!) She's been employed at BVS for over 17 years (1993). She enjoys her job and finds it rewarding in various ways. She shares her life with her daughter Roxy and their three cats: Stick, Willow & Jag, all three of whom were rescued by BVS. When she's not working or spending time with her daughter or family, she can be found walking along side the ocean when the tide is way out.
"I look forward to meeting you all - drop by and say hello :)"
  • Erin M lives with a full house of pets that keep her busy! Violet, a SharpeiX, and Winston, a bulldog, captured her heart from their first wrinkles! She loves meeting new wrinkly and non-wrinkly friends alike.
  • Danielle - Danielle has experience in a medical office, but has decided that working with pets is much more interesting.

Veterinary Assistants

  • Erin C - Erin has two dogs and a cat who give her funny looks as she practices her restraint techniques on them!
  • Elisabeth - Elisabeth splits her time between work, school, her horse and studying to be a Veterinarian in the not-too-distant future. She can also be found holding our reception position on many Saturdays.
  • Danica - a student at UVic, Danica loves horses! Danica is the creative force behind our informative displays in the hospital.
  • Tasia - Tasia comes to us with many years of doggy daycare and training experience and is excited to expand her knowledge in the veterinary field.

Michelle has enjoyed being an employee of Breadner Veterinary Services for 7 years now. Michelle loves a challenge and working with a wide variety of species is always exciting. Her favorite areas of veterinary care are anesthesia, dentistry and emergency medicine. She also loves the technical aspect of her job: blood collection, iv catheter placement, advanced nursing care and cleint education.

Michelle is currently a part-time tech and a full time mom to her beautiful son. Happily married to Glen, they share their home with "Hopey" a 9 year old golden retriever who is a positive light and full of love, and Ziki a 16 year old cuddly cat who loves lion shaves. As well, her occasional "project" is taking home animals that need homes before they are adopted.
